Jun 22, 2016 · I own Need for Speed Shift at Origin and i can´t use the online services. I got the message that my "cd-key is already registered". I´ve contacted the EA support ten times, have used lots of keys they gave me, installed a NFS Shift registry (where i pasted the cd-key manually) and some specialists of the support said that the online features are disabled because the servers are down.

Need for Speed World is currently the least of EA's concern. Also the primary developer of NFS is currently Ghost Games. World was ran by Black Box, which closed down a while ago. So I highly doubt that NFS World will ever make an official return. However, a group of dedicated fans made an offline mode, so that you can still play the game. If world.needforspeed.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress
