Feb 17, 2019 · It seems to be due to a change of email address as when I set up the old iPad I used my Sky email address for my Apple ID but after leaving Sky for an email I changed to a Gmail account which is the only ID that iTunes will accept. I originally also set up an iCloud email but iTunes doesn’t recognize that one.
