The performance counters do show the totals. Open your server explorer, and you can find the performance counters for Total Bytes Received/sec and Total Bytes Sent/sec. Even if they don't show the totals, just add the two values together and store it in a variable.

SVCHOST.EXE was the highest culprit initially sending 4000 bytes but has now dropped down to zero and no longer appears on the network list.
