I had a bunch of connection problems with dd-wrt on my wrt54g v4 switched to tomato firmware and liked it much better. I really feel like Tomato is the best. i'm still unsure why people choose dd-wrt over tomato. Tomato is much more user friendly but not over simplified plus it has awesome bandwidth monitoring. I left my pc's, modem, and router off overnight and then powercycled them but am still having the issue.
