Dec 29, 2008 · I have no issues with connecting it. I just disconnect the ethernet cord from the computer and connect it to the PS3. I did have a friend initially set up my internet capabilites for the PS3 at his place using Comcast. I dont know if that could have something to do with it, or if its how he set it up? Sorry cant be more help. For some reason my PS3 won't connect to the internet, my Signal strength is around 60-70%. My friends PS3 has a 60% connection and it works just fine. I need to know what to do to get my PS3 connected to the Internet. (By the way I am using I wireless connection and I have tried unplugging the router). Click on Network & Internet in the Settings menu. Click on Wi-Fi to see the list of available networks (SSIDs) Select xfinitywifi from the list of available networks and click it. You will be prompted that you are connecting to an unsecured wireless network. Click Connect.
